Heart Rings
Heart rings have always been a classical sign of love and
devotion between two people. Even if this love is nothing more than puppy love the first gift the boy gives his
girl is a toy heart ring. They are not only given as tokens of love between couples but they are also used as
tokens of friendship.
There is a classical model which has always been a favorite of
many, it is the half heart ring. The set includes two rings and each ring has half of the heart. The heart is not
cut straight down the middle but it is a jagged cut and when put together the two pieces fit exactly to complete
the heart. What this means is that the heart is not complete and happy when the parts are separated. It also says
that when they are separated each one has half of a heart that beats as one for both of them.
Heart rings are designed in many shapes and sizes. They are
made of gold, silver and many other metals, you can even find them in plastic for children to give away. Young
girls love to exchange them with their closest friends and buddies. Whatever the material it is made of or
the amount of money spent to buy it; it is a token of love and friendship that has been used
forever.
Love and friendship are feelings that cut deeply into people’s
hearts and that is the reason why they use heart rings to show it to their loved ones. A heart ring shows
commitment even if it is just a toy. It is possible to buy extremely expensive rings that have hearts on them so it
is a matter of budget what you give your loved one. The monetary value of the ring is not the point and it is not
the main issue here, the point here is that the person is giving you his heart on that ring. The heart on the ring
represents his own heart and he is giving it to you for keeps.
The heart is the pump that keeps our body alive and
functioning, if your heart fails you die. This person who gives you a heart ring is giving you his life. Again, the
price of the ring is not important what is important is what it represents to him and should represent to you.
Breaking a person’s heart by hurting them is something you must never do, the wounds and scars take a long time to
heal.
When you receive a heart ring from someone you care for, make
sure that the feelings are mutual, make sure that you are ready to accept the responsibility of the gift you are
receiving. It is not easy to open yourself up to someone and show him absolute trust and love. When someone does
this for you and the feelings are not mutual, do not accept the token of his love, it is easier to accept rejection
than to live with a lie.
